He is soo right by saying Dare I assume wet shaving never really caught on in Hong Kong?. Back in the days I broke several dry shaver with my hair (or with my lazyness to avoid daily shaving). Than I changed to wet shaving. But here in HK you get either get Gillette or Schick shaving cream which is like carpet-cleaning foam. In some of the Watsons shops they have Nivea, which is better, not the best. But ironically when I bought one some weeks ago the nice cashier just put a probe of Schick foam in my bag. I told her that I do not need that - I think I proved for her the prototype of a Gwailo. The next thing is skincare, perfume and those things. I don't like that usual stuff and when I shell out money for perfume I don't want Gucci, DKNY, blah and put-your-big-brandname here. Try to find something like umberto ungaro here: no go. Bodylotion, Hair Styling cream (I mean something else than L'oreal) all that things - In that matter, Hong Kong is a developing country. ... Link ... Link ... Link |
