Seems like the graphics driver market is moving. Intel announced new X.org graphics drivers. And AMD looks into releasing drivers for ATI chipsets as well

V4L is been marked as deprecated in the Linux kernel (not completely yet but the writing is on the wall). However, the plugin for V4L2 for GStreamer is is in the bad package and that is for a reason. If you want to test your webcam with GStreamer and use the V4L2 plugin use this gst-launch line:

Everything should be automatic in GStreamer. So pluueaaase, get rid of this insane parameter.

Seit einer Woche nun versuche ich krampfhaft mit Blender zurecht zu kommen. Irgendwie ist mein Hirn aber eher so wie Rhinoceros 3D oder aber 3ds max verdrahtet. Das mit den ganzen Tastaturkuerzeln ist ja ganz schoen und gut wenn man nicht sowie staendig an der Maus haengt um hin und her zu zoomen. Aber scheinbar kann man mit Blender produktiv arbeiten wie man hier an Elephants Dream unschwer erkennen kann. Mir ist nur noch nicht klar wie das geht.
