A nonrepresentative survey on The Code Project unveiled it. And honestly I am currently not using UML either (I did when I started the project or when I have to redesign some modules). But reading the comments you get the picture why it is not used. It is a mixture of ignorance and not-knowing-what-they-are-talking-about. Pretty obvious is also that they make a destinction between Developers and Architects (in the meaning of software architects) - I think to see them as separate entities is already 50% of the failure rate. |
