No! I can't stand it anymore. There are too many people, too unconcerned what their presence in the net can cause. Yesterday evening, web was almost impossible to use. I usually empty my Junk-Mail folder by reporting all that penis-enlargements and viagra-pills to SpamCop. That reduced my spam-income by ~50% - downgraded me to the ~20 UCM border - sigh!. But now I get all that other stuff caused by damn Outlook users - for the deaf: I DO NOT WANT TO BE IN YOUR OUTLOOK ADDRESSBOOK. Next thing are those XP dummies - Microsoft Windows has a Windows- Update function - use it!. And if you don't like it there is also a manual version of it. If you are using the most unsecure operating system - it is your responsibility to not harm other people with that junk!. But what me really let feel sick are people attaching .doc files and than moaning around that I can't read anything in there: there is something like PDF (portable document format) - the guys invented it should be praised. But what I am complaining? People like Dave Winer also using permanent unsecure mail programs - how unresponsible is that? Q: Where I am? A: if you plugged in your RJ-45 or WLAN card: battle field web I would suggest. The web is massmedia now and the majority has a bad taste (read it as: they have no principles of judgement). And yes they will destroy it. Infowars already started: between Joe Normal and his nephew Tim Nerd ...  |
