Unlike in Europe here its darn hot - which is good but because of the high UV values my journeys in and out the backyard are fast. So, don't be jealous! Therefore, I have also way too much time for my hobby/work: While checking some mail I realized how different some of the mailinglists work. Two examples from my daily reading pile: OpenCV (a computer vision library) - the usual post goes like this: hw can I guet image frm webcam - need urgent, please help!!!!111or the more advanced will ask something along the line: I need to detect number plt and process and get pose with cvPose - has anybody code for this can send to codemonkey@hotmail.com This is contrary to what you will experience in the OpenSceneGraph community. **put complicated multipass rendering method explanation here** plus the author will conclude: ... can someone set me straight? Am I heading in completely the wrong direction here? I guess I prefer the OSG list and try to avoid the other as much as possible - you can imagine asking a complicated question - tumble wheat will cross your path. |
