I am really struggeling to get real HDV video into through GStreamer. It seems that if I switch to DV compression the camera rescales the image to 983x576 (or something like this). But I can't get 1080i working properly. Update So it turns out that GStreamers' dv1394src element (within the 1394 plugin) assumes DV content. However, HDV is just a MPEG2-TS. So hopefully that can be fixed, and then we can do AR with amazing resolutions. |
